Hey, I’m a cherry tree.

I have a seat for you.

Come and sit down and stay awhile.

You never know, you might like it.

It could be comfy,

Or it could be rough.

Under my black cherry branches.

In the morning, we had hot chocolate and a lesson about wild animals.  I learned a lot that I didn’t know.

Then we had a wood lesson.  We got to see how you see how old the tree is, and you don’t even have to cut it down!

After that, we went on a walk to the waterfall, and I got to paint pictures of the waterfall.   Gloriana came with us dressed up as Sacagawea.

Then we had lunch.  I had corn cakes and acorn squash.  The corn cakes were delicious.

Then we took a walk up big rocks and ended up at a spot that overlooked the waterfall beautifully.

After that, we got in the water and looked for macroinvertebrates under rocks.  It was fun to get to cool down.  When the other group came back, they were covered in mud.

On the way back home, we did a fun map project.  It was the best field trip ever!

I wish to have a cooking channel.  I am good at cooking, and I like doing it.  This summer, I took a baking camp.  We made soft pretzels, pretzel cookies, whoopee pies, monkey bread, and apple cake.
