This year for Halloween we went to Norwich and Hanover to trick or treat.I was dressed up as Princess Leia, my brother was a flame trooper, and my sister was a unicorn. We got so much candy!!!!!!!After we went trick or treating we went to our friends house.It was so fun.

MY CLASS WENT TO THE VERMONT STATE HOUSE AND HISTORY MUSEUM.THE BEST PART WAS THE STATE HOUSE.OUR TOUR GUIDE TOOK US AROUND MOST OF THE PLACE.WE LEARNED ABOUT AGRICULTURE, THE STATUE ON THE TOP OF THE DOME. WE WENT TO THE SENATE ROOM AND THE REPRESENTATIVE ROOM.WE ALSO WENT TO THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE AND THE CEDAR CREEK ROOM.ALL OF THE ROOMS WERE VERY BEAUTIFUL.THEY ALSO HAD TONS OF PAINTINGS.THE BLACK TILE ON THE FLOOR HAD FOSSILS IN THEM.THE STATE HOUSE WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL.

          Splash!I dove clear into the pale blue water.All was peaceful until…Shark!!!!!!I had landed on a shark!I screamed until I was so hoarse I could not scream any more.The shark darted around and around until we reached the coral reef.

            The coral reef was pale pinks,grays,blues,yellows,greens,oranges,and reds.It was swarming with creatures of all sizes,shapes,and colors.There were red crabs,bluish gray clams,green sea turtles,lots of beautiful fish,and even dolphins.I snapped so many pictures.I was astonished by how many creatures there were in the coral reef.

           Meanwhile,I had forgotten that I was riding on the back of a shark.Suddenly,it flicked me straight of its back and I went flying through the water and landed on some sand.I started swimming away as fast as I could,but the shark followed me.I took of one of my flippers and chucked it at the shark to try to distract him,but it did not work.I was terrified.I swam so fast and so hard and I finally reached the shore.I breathed a sigh of relief.

           I was so tired and sore from swimming so fast and so hard that I went and had a five hour massage.Now I am not so sure I want to go scuba diving in shark-infested water anymore.

MY SISTER CHARLOTTE IS SCARED OF OUR UPS MAN. SO, WHEN HE BROUGHT US PACKAGES, WE SCARED HER.

OUR UPS MAN CLOSED THE DOOR SO IT MADE IT APPEAR THAT HE WAS GONE. THEN, WE TOLD CHARLOTTE THERE WAS A PACKAGE FOR HER. SO, SHE CAME INTO THE MUDROOM WHERE THE UPS MAN WAS WAITING. HE JUMPED OUT AND SCARED HER. SHE SCREAMED AND RAN AWAY.

  My  family and I did a gingerbread house decorating chopped.  My aunt and uncle, two of their kids, my mom and dad, my brother and sister, my other aunt and I did it.

First, we were revealed our decorating ingredents:  golden grahams, mini marshmallows, and mini Charleston Chews.  In the middle of the table there was cotton candy, snow caps, gum drops, peanut m&ms, and mints.  Each team was given a bag of frosting, a piping bag, tip, and green fondant.  We were also asked a trivia question to get candy.  The person who guessed closest to the answer got first pick on a special bowl of candy.  The choices of candy were candy Christmas lights,  little colored balls, and red hots.  My team got red hots.  Then we set the timer.  We had 35 minutes to decorate.

The teams were:  1; my mom, my dad, my sister, and one of my cousins,  2; my aunt and uncle, my brother, and my other cousin, 3; me and my aunt.

 My aunt and and I made a really cool house.We had a pond, a walkway, a tree, a wreath, snow drifts, and a mailbox.  Our roof was decorated with snow caps and mini marshmallows.  Our pond was made of mini marshmallows with a mini Charleston Chew fence around it.  Our wreath was green fondant with a red hot for a berry.  Our mailbox is made from golden grahams and two mini Charleston Chews.  Our walkway was made of golden grahams.  Our tree was made of fondant and a mini Charleston Chew.  Our snow drifts and snow were vanilla cotton candy.

On Christmas morning I woke up and opened my stocking with my brother and sister upstairs. Then we had breakfast and opened presents. Then we went to our grammy’s house to open her presents. We walked home and played and had  lunch. My brother and I went back to our grammy’s house. We watched a movie with my cousins. Then we had Christmas dinner and went home.   

The leaves pop, pop.

The grass is like a lush, green carpet.

The birds tweet joyous songs.

Spring is here!

The itty bitty leaves are opening.

The dew glistens on the leaves.

Brown? Gone!
