Legoland Discovery Center

I went to the Legoland Discovery Center with my family.

Outside there is a huge giraffe.  Once you pay you can have your picture taken using a falling-Lego background.  Then you go upstairs and get a stamp for your ticket.  Lego people on a TV tell you what to do.  You choose your color and go through the door.  Go to the table with your color and begin.  The Lego people will explain about the Lego factory; then you build Lego guys on a computer and decorate heads.  When there is a big yellow brick, the Lego people on the TV shout ”Lego”!  At the end of that, they give you a Lego brick that says Legoland Discovery Center.

Then there is a ride.  On the ride there are bad guys on the wall that you have to shoot.  You have your picture taken on that ride too.  Then you go to a mini Lego Boston.  There are games on the Lego world that you can play.

Lastly, there is a big room with a climbing area that has ropes, a slide and other cool things.  There is a movie place where they play 4D short movies.  There is another ride that spins and goes up and down. There are play areas for little kids and a place for building things and racing cars. There is a whole Ninjago room too.  There is a cafe to have lunch at and a really cool gift shop.

It was so fun!

What an adventure! I loved reading all about it, especially because I didn’t even know that was there in Boston. I have some nieces and nephews who will be very interested to hear what you said!

I also had a little teacher dancing party when I read this marvelous piece because you applied so many of the skills you practiced this year. Your organization, details, and voice really jumped out at me! Wowee!

Do you remember how to add a picture? If you don’t, just have your mom e-mail me one that you would like to have added.

Reading this made my day, Elsa!
